Primary Purpose:
Under moderate supervision by the Chief Human Resources & Talent Management Officer, the Position Control Specialist will manage and maintain the District’s Human Resource & Talent Management software programs; implement, monitor and evaluate the District’s application and employee data systems; and ensure that adequate resources/information are available for career fairs.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of the selection, training, and supervision of personnel
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and word processing applications
Ability to perform basic mathematics computations
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Ability to understand and follow detailed written or verbal instructions
Ability to multi-task
Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance
Excellent public relations, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
One year of data entry, clerical, and database maintenance employment or equivalent experience
Public school district experience, preferred
