OUR PURPOSE
Dynamic Support Solutions (DSS) is a professional consulting firm offering financial management, back-office, and operational services to school districts and education-based non-profits in Texas. We are a team of Accountants, Teachers, Auditors, Superintendents, IT, PEIMS Coordinators, AP, Payroll, and Finance experts.
SUMMARY
Assist DSS and Client with PEIMS financial, staff, and student data analysis and PEIMS submissions. Looking for a self-starter, who requires minimal supervision, and is willing to learn effective and efficient ways to collect, manage, and submit district State Reporting data. Assists assigned school district clients and special projects where PEIMS analysis and data collection recommendations are presented to a variety of audiences. Someone with campus/district experience as a PEIMS Coordinator or Registrar preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages PEIMS Coordination aspects of school administration, supporting HR, Superintendent’s Office, IT, and Operations needs or an assigned campus.
Perform and assist with periodic State data reporting and submission of PEIMS and Core Collections.
Performs data entry and maintenance of PEIMS data in various financial and student information systems like Skyward, PowerSchool, Ascender, Websmart, etc.
Responsible for reviewing all reports and providing reports to various district and DSS staff prior to submission, ensuring a trail of accountability and reporting.
Backup for PEIMS staff within DSS or other Clients for Ad Hoc work or taking over during transitions.
Review student data collection, reporting policies, data quality manuals, and procedures, making recommendations for updates to ensure compliance with State and Federal laws.
Review enrollment and attendance records including but not limited to special and economically disadvantaged populations for accuracy.
Review, analyze, and verify current and previous campus data collection and data submission to the State for inconsistencies.
Perform system data/information conversion and data entry accuracy.
Furnish reports to the management with findings and recommendations, in written report or in presentation formats.
Act at trainer and guide for staff in their own development
Other duties as assigned.
