Position Title: Special Education Inclusion Paraprofessional
Location: Elementary Campus
Beginning: July 2025
Qualifications:
- Paraprofessional Certificate or qualified to apply for same
- Previous experience preferred but not required
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate thoroughness and a high degree of reliability in performing work assignments
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality
- Cooperate with principal, supervising teachers and other staff members in achieving campus goals
- Ability to respond professionally to parents, staff, and students
- Follow guidelines/lesson plans as directed by supervising teacher
- Assist in students’ personal hygiene, dressing, meals, communication with other staff/therapists, and any other needs of student
- Possibly direct instruction, implementing IEP’s
- Provide positive reinforcement
- Assist with any mobility needs
- Monitor student progress on life skills’ goals and document observations
- Coordinate with other staff to coordinate care
- Perform other duties as assigned
