Job Scope
Oversees daily operation of a singular department or campus. Directs staff, which should include people managers, in the development and implementation of departmental or campus policies, procedures, and programs. Adheres to both district policy and governmental regulations concerning department or campus operations. Manages departmental or campus structure, development, training, and planning.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the architecture, roadmap, design, standardization, availability, and the support of all cloud and physical infrastructure.
- Responsible for the development and implementing a hybrid cloud strategy.
- Oversee and ensure the District Data Center is secure, up-to-date, operational, accessible and supports teaching, learning and business functions.
- Own end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical services and builds automation to prevent problem recurrence; automate response to all non-exceptional service conditions.
- Lead strategic technology initiatives which build and maintain key elements of the company’s enterprise infrastructure, including but not limited to 24x7 data center and cloud infrastructure management and strategy, Active Directory integration and innovative end user computing solutions.
- Lead the Enterprise Applications Team in implementing and managing tactical and packaged applications such as Microsoft Windows/Active Directory, Linux systems, and other off-the-shelf systems as required.
- Responsible for the design, implementation, documentation, installation, maintenance, and management of all SAISD endpoint systems and devices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years equivalent experience, and
- 10+ years of progressive experience in managing a complex IT infrastructure, and
- 4+ years of progressive leadership experience to include: o Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Managing employees or teams.
- o Coaching, Mentoring, Developing, and Performance Managing employees or teams."
- Ability to manage large complex programs with multiple functional stakeholders.
- Work Prolonged or irregular hours.
