School Counselor

Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program at assigned campus(s). Counsel students to fully develop each student’s academic, career, personal, and social abilities and address the needs of special population students. Deliver guidance curriculum in various group sizes. Educate students of skills necessary to address troublesome circumstances, support students in challenging situations, and assist students with needed resources to navigate crisis situations.

• Demonstrate thoroughness, reliability, and a high degree of accuracy in performing work assignments * Produce and maintain accurate reports and records, and supervise the administration of assessments, collection of   testing data , and other related functions *Maintain student confidentiality *Work productively with parents, teachers and administrators for student success *Provide an organized environment conducive to successful counseling strategies * Perform related duties as assigned
