Salary is Pay Grade: E21 Minimum Salary: * $96,276.00 Mid-Point Salary: $119,805.60 (Exempt)

Job Scope: Oversees daily operation of a singular department or campus. Directs staff, which should include people managers, in the development and implementation of departmental or campus policies, procedures, and programs. Adheres to both district policy and governmental regulations concerning department or campus operations. Manages departmental or campus structure, development, training, and planning.
Position Summary: The Director of Regulatory Compliance is responsible for providing administrative leadership and oversight to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff where all school facilities comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Director designs and implements processes to detect and respond to compliance issues, ensuring that the District is improving the operational efficiency, effectiveness, and customer service of its assigned department. This role is responsible for taking a proactive stance to regulatory issues for the District by developing relationships with regulatory agencies, creating procedures and processes to optimize operations, and supporting the measurement of all departments’ key performance indicators. This role works collaboratively with various departments and external agencies to navigate complex regulations, identify potential risks, support a culture of customer service, and implement effective compliance measures. This role uses significant independent judgment and familiarity of the field to manage compliance initiatives and supports senior leadership in measuring the adherence to these regulations and goals.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or 4 years equivalent experience in a related field, such as public safety, environmental science, or facility management, and
• 10+ years progressive experience in compliance or legal, quality assurance, auditing and/or project management, and
• 4+ years of progressive leadership experience to include: o Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Managing employees or teams. o Coaching, Mentoring, developing, and Performance Managing employees or teams.
