We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Principal to join our team, focusing on student discipline and behavior management. This pivotal role involves working closely with students, staff, and parents to uphold a positive and respectful school environment. The Assistant Principal will implement disciplinary policies and procedures, address behavioral concerns, and collaborate with teachers to promote a safe and conducive learning atmosphere. The position will assist the school principal in overall administration of instructional program and campus level operations in a manner that supports a learning environment that maximizes the potential of each student.
The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and qualifications:
• Master's degree completed or in progress• Valid, or working towards, Texas Principal certification
The community of Chester is nestled in the Pineywoods of Southeast Texas on Highway 287 in Tyler County. The district is located approximately 2 hours north of Houston, and an easy drive from Lufkin and Beaumont. Chester ISD is the hub of the community, with employee involvement in every aspect of this beloved small town. Serving roughly 200 students, Chester ISO has one elementary school and one JH/HS combined.
