Exemplary, innovative, high-energy communications and marketing leader who promotes positive public relations between the school district and community. Develop and manage a comprehensive, professional communications plan for multiple audiences that promotes the district's educational programs and brand. Prepare and provide information to the public and staff about the activities, goals, policies and achievements of the school district. Serve as primary liaison between district and media outlets. Assist in development of district communication and marketing goals, maintain awareness of and support district and campus branding efforts.
Education/Certification:
Master's or Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.

• Excellent public relations, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, parents, or the public
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district
• Thorough knowledge of media relations and public relations functions
• Knowledge of and experience with marketing, content, and brand strategy
• Demonstrated skills in writing, editing, and public speaking
• Ability to engage and influence all stakeholders

Experience:
• Five years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field.
• Three years of leadership experience preferred.
