Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of our students. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, developing lesson plans, and providing instruction in various subjects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and growth
- Provide instruction in subjects such as special education, literacy education, math, and childhood development
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Use classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students who may require additional assistance
- Foster a love of learning through creative and interactive teaching methods
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting positive behavior and character development
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Familiarity with classroom technology and educational software
This position will also be involved in the coaching duties at Mullin ISD as assisgned by the Athletic Director. The Dual Contract for Coaching / Teaching will be an 11 month contract with stipends attached to the compensation package for coaching.
