The EDMSR will collaborate extensively with the Superintendent, CDO, GC, CFO, CAO, COO and Campus Leadership to set and achieve the district’s marketing and student recruitment goals of the organization to ensure each campus is fully enrolled on the first day of school. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned by the Chief Development Officer.

  • Oversee and grow marketing and recruitment efforts to achieve the following goals:
    • Strategically meet/exceed student enrollment established targets - Build strong community relationships within all communities where TBP operates
    • Increase local, state, and national awareness of Trinity Basin Preparatory, Inc., the mission of the organization, and the academic success that TBP delivers
    • Create and execute effective advertising/outreach to help HR recruit high quality employees
    • Assist in TBP’s efforts to attract and develop relationships with potential corporate, non-profit, and individual donors
  • Develop and manage annual marketing budget, spending plan, and other financial marketing considerations to ensure TBP continuously uses the most cost-effective advertising channels, software, and contracted professionals to reach prospective families.
  • Plan, development, and implement marketing strategies and related communications, both internal and external.
  • Direct the efforts of all district marketing related to district student recruitment/retention and district teacher recruiting efforts.
  • Works with dedicated campus staff to build knowledge and support for TBP at the local, state, and national level, to engage community members, and other third-party organizations as needed to help promote and further the mission of TBP.
  • Track and present key paid marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide campaign results, market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for future consideration.
  • Oversee paid and organic media presence, content, and engagement on all platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure presence and appropriate use of TBP’s brand identity at each TBP location and online platform. Page 2 of 4 Job Description Executive Director of Marketing and Student Enrollment 05/05/2022
  • Ensure the TBP brand has a unified and welcoming look and feel across all internal and external consumer-facing virtual and physical platforms, including campus lobbies and other space where parents engage with TBP students/staff.
  • Lead development and implementation of new marketing, advertising, and student recruiting initiatives to boost student enrollment and help attract qualified teachers and teaching candidates.
  • Direct the internal marketing team and all external marketing partnerships and student recruiting team and work collaboratively with enrollment and designated campus, and contracted professionals in the design, production, and execution of the marketing plan to achieve TBP’s annual recruiting/enrollment targets. This also includes production of all marketing assets, including but not limited to:
    • Brochures and flyers
    • Informational packets/booklets
    • Videos to share internally and externally via email and online publication for organic and paid advertising purposes.
    • Direct mail materials
    • Create, consult, and/or assist with media announcements designed to help promote the TBP brand, highlight opportunities for parents to enroll their students, and attract teachers and staff to come work for TBP
    • Web-based materials
    • Banners and other promotional items
    • Paid digital ads and ad optimization strategies/services
  • Collaborate with Administrative and Campus Leadership to create, communicate, and implement/execute an annual data driven plan designed to start the next school year with the targeted number of students on the first day of school. The annual plan will outline strategies, roles, and responsibilities to connect with new families in the communities TBP serves, convert new families to enroll their students at a TBP school, engage existing parents throughout the school year, and retain existing students for future school years.
  • Continuously improve the customer service experience for parents when applying, enrolling, and re-enrolling.
  • Establishes annual norms and practices that help to drive future increases in enrollment. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Campus Open Houses during the regular school year
    • School visitation program (aka school tours) for prospective students and families
    • Building a network of paid and/or volunteer parent/former student ambassadors who will assist with community outreach and student recruitment in the community future
  • Understands and complies with all district policies, procedures, and expectations as communicated by administration.
