Primary Purpose: Direct and manage instructional program and supervise operations and personnel at campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities.
Education/Certification:Master’s degree in educational administrationTexas principal or other appropriate Texas certificateCertified Texas Teacher Support and Evaluation System (T-TESS) appraiserSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Working knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectivenessAbility to manage budget and personnelAbility to coordinate campus functionsAbility to implement policy and proceduresAbility to interpret dataStrong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skillsBilingual, preferredExperience:Three years experience as a classroom teacherThree years experience in instructional leadership roles
