Campus Description: Bartlett is a rural school district with 450 students. We are located near Temple, Austin, Georgetown, and Round Rock. Our Elementary school enrollment hovers around 210 students. Bartlett ISD is a TIA (Teacher Incentive Allotment) district.
Description/Notes:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all components of the athletic training program for student athletes. Provide athletic training in the form of health care that includes principles and methods for managing and treating athletic injuries for student athletes in good general health.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Master Degree Preferred but not required
Valid Texas teaching certificate
Valid Athletic Trainer Certificate
Current first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate
Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements (optional)
Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and injury prevention
Ability to provide emergency care and rehabilitation for student athletic injuries
Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes and assistants
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
2 years’ experience as an athletic trainer
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all components of the athletic training program for student athletes
Work under the direction of the team physician to provide athletic training in the form of health care that includes principles and methods for managing and treating athletic injuries for student athletes in good general health
